Paint primer for EIFS and stucco

Our paint primer for EIFS and stucco is a exterior or interior coating. It is used before applying a finish. It can be used as a base for paint or finish. Packaging

5 gallon  plastic pails. About 45 lbs.

Coverage

You get close to 1500 sq/ft per pail of our paint primer for EIFS and stucco.

Note: Coverage varies  upon job conditions.

Storage

Store paint primer for EIFS and stucco in its original pail at temps from 40º F  to 110º F.  Store out of direct sunlight. Do not stack more than 3 pails high.

Shelf Life

About 2 years if properly stored.

Surface Preparation

Must be clean, dry and properly cured. Surfaces must be free of dirt,  paint and any other surface contaminants.

Mixing

Mix paint primer for EIFS and stucco to obtain a uniform consistency. use a Jiffler mixer at 400-500 rpm. Avoid air entrainment.

Note: No additives or materials of any kind shall be added under any circumstances. For further mixing instructions see label on side of pail.

Curing

Initial drying will occur within 24 hours. Final cure requires 3 to 4 weeks.

Application Directions

paint primer for EIFS and stucco may be applied in damp or humid weather. Do not Apply when rain is imminent. Do not apply in direct sunlight. Apply the paint primer for EIFS and stucco to achieve a coverage rate of 1500 square feet per pail.

For brush or roller application. Mix contents according to mixing directions. Use a medium to long nap cover for rough surfaces.

For spray application. Use the following recommendations or equal as a guide: Tip…………………………016-.021 Fan………………………..40º to 60º (8″ to 10″ fan) Pressure……………….800-1600 psi. It may be necessary to roll out the paint primer for EIFS and stucco with a roller to ensure contact with substrate.

Precautions.Limitations.

Surface temps must be at least 40º F during application and initial drying period. Do not use on wet or damp surfaces or in extremely cold temps. Keep product safe from the elements. Avoid application over irregular surfaces.

Cleanup

Clean tools immediately after use with soapy water.
