      Coverage

      1. As an adhesive using a notched trowel to adhere (EPS) board to substrates it renders (140-160 sq/ft) per pail. For non wood frame applications. 2. As a base coat for embedding of  Mesh it gets 140-280 sq/ft per pail 3. As a leveling coat coverage depends upon the thickness applied. Note: Coverages may vary depending upon job conditions.

      Mixing with Portland Cement

Use a clean 5 gallon pail.  Do not use a pail which has contained a petroleum based product. 1. Open Wet Stucco Base Coat and mix well. 2. Pour half the mixture into another clean 5 gallon pail. 3. Add 1/2 Gallon potable water. Add 30LB  Type I Portland Cement & Type II Portland Cement (ASTM C-150) to mixture. Mix with a 1/2” drill at 400- 500 RPM and a Jiffler mixer. 4. Add a little more clean water or Portland Cement if needed to get a smooth texture. 5. Let material rest for 10 minutes to allow the portland cement to fully take water. Then remix adding more clean water or Portland Cement if needed to adjust workability. Note: Do not exceed a 1:1 ratio (by weight) of portland cement to Wet Stucco Base Coat. Excessive amounts of Portland Cement will reduce the strength of the product. It also may cause cracking or efflorescence. Note: Over mixing will cause faster set time with portland cement.
